At The Cause Community Church, we value selflessly serving others. We value courageously obeying God and going OUT to our community, the country, and nations beyond. Get involved in GOING out to share the love of Christ with our world!

Our approach to outreach and missions is to partner to impact the city, influence the region, touch the nation, and speak to the world, based on Acts 1:8 and Colossians 4:5.

Everyone is called to be a “missionary” – the light of the world (Matthew 5:14), a witness (Acts 1:8), an ambassador (2 Corinthians 5:20) – all of the time in Zone 1 (your “core” or circle of influence). But we want to challenge everyone to be a missionary outside of Zone 1. Jesus said in Acts 1:8:

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Based off of Acts 1:8, the following Zones have been targeted:

Zone 1: Circle of Influence or “Core” Ministry
Focus: The people God has purposely and strategically placed in your life that you influence regularly – your family, friends, co-workers, classmates, etc. Everyone has people in their immediate circle of influence who desperately need to be loved and transformed by the power of Christ. Time commitment: An ongoing commitment to pray for, serve, and love the people God puts in your life. Financial Cost: Whatever you are willing to give.

Zone 2: Community Ministry
Focus: Your local community and the greater Los Angeles and Orange Counties. You can volunteer in serving at local outreach events including Cory’s Kitchen, senior centers, the Dream Center, etc. Time commitment: This is a very short-term time commitment that usually lasts for a few hours at a time. Financial Cost: Little to no cost.

Zone 3: Continental Ministry
Focus: Mission trips within North America – the 50 U.S. States, Canada, and Mexico. Time commitment/travel: Members can travel short distances (by car or plane) to do ministry. These trips are usually 2-7 days long. Financial Cost: Costs for these trips are relatively lower (i.e. $0 to up to approximately $500).

Zone 4: Global or Cross-Cultural Ministry
Focus: Any international country outside of North America. Time commitment/travel: This can be a short or long-term commitment that lasts anywhere from two weeks to two years. Financial Cost: Costs for these trips vary (i.e. approximately $500 – $4000 or more).
