What To Expect When You Visit!

WE ARE SO GLAD you are interested in visiting us at The Cause!  We know that walking into a building of strangers can sometimes be a little scary, so here is what to expect when you visit us for the first time.

AS YOU DRIVE UP, you will notice a sign that asks first time visitors to turn their lights on.  This is so we can make it easy for you to find a parking spot close to the front door!

WHEN YOU WALK INTO THE LOBBY on the west side of the building, you will be welcomed by our friendly Greeters at the door.  They will hand you a “Save the Date” card highlighting our upcoming events and calendar.  To your left, there’s a coffee bar.  Please feel free to grab a tea or coffee, and if you’d like to bring it into the Sanctuary during service, just ask for one of the spill proof mugs.

IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN and would like to put them in the “Cause Kids” Children’s Ministry, head down the hallway in front of you and make a left.  That will take you to the Children’s Check-In area where a friendly volunteer will guide you where to go.

IF YOU HAVE TEENAGERS, during the 11am service we have The Movement Junior High and High School Ministry. This is held in the Auditorium at the very end of the hallway.

AS YOU HEAD INTO THE SANCTUARY for the service, an Usher can help you find a seat.

OUR SERVICE has contemporary praise and worship, and a light-hearted, warm feel.  We love to sing and worship the Lord, but you are always welcome to just observe if you aren’t comfortable singing.  After a few songs, one of the pastors will get up and pray or share an encouraging word, and sometimes will ask you to greet the people around you before taking a seat.  We don’t want to embarrass you in any way, but we also don’t want you to leave feeling like no one noticed you or said “hello”!

AFTER SOME ANNOUNCEMENTS and collecting the offering (you will notice we use popcorn buckets due to our early beginnings when we held church at the East Edwards Movie Theater in Downtown Brea), Pastor Bob will usually get straight into the message.  We like to laugh and have fun in church (who said church had to be boring anyway?!).  There is always opportunity to receive prayer at the end of service if you would like.

OUR SERVICES go for approximately an hour and a half.  Pastors Bob & Sherry have a passion to see people healthy, whole, and free, and you will find that their messages are practical, applicable, and relevant.

AFTER THE SERVICE you can go to the “Connection Center” in the Lobby where you can pick up a gift and information specifically for new visitors.

Now that you know what to expect, it will make things a little easier on your first visit!  If you would like to connect to a pastor or ask any questions, please call Pastor Josh at 714.255.0930 x102 or email him at and he can answer any questions you may have.

See you this Saturday or Sunday!
